The Roots to Perform at Princeton “Lawn Party”

The Undergraduate Student Whatever over at Princeton just announced that none other than Jimmy Fallon’s backing band will be performing, next Sunday, at an event called… “Lawnparties.” At a club called… “Quadrangle.”

Are Princetonians cultured enough to enjoy the legendary Roots? The Events planner’s plea indicates not,

[they] put on a great show so even if you’ve never heard of them

The concert is sponsored by the Princeton Alcohol Initiative. Fresh.

    When you guys talk about Skull & Bones, Porcellian, or some other University-specific club, you speak of it as if everyone knows it and everything about it, but for some reason you put Princeton’s dear Quad and the name of the century-old Lawn Parties celebration in quotation marks as if they are more inferior and/or obscure institutions to those of the other schools.

    Princeton has Eating Clubs, of which there are ten:
    Cap & Gown
    Charter
    Cloister
    Colonial
    Cottage
    Ivy
    Terrace
    Tiger Inn
    Tower
    Quad

    It’s not hard.
