IvyGate Tip-Off: MGMT to Headline Yale Spring Fling

You heard it here first: hipioneers and Wesleyanites, electronic duo MGMT, will be headlining Yale’s Spring Fling music and booze-spectacular. The name “Missy Elliot” has also been thrown around, though with less conviction. (Last year’s big names were GirlTalk and The Decemberists.)

The news comes to us from several well-connected sources, and if we’re wrong, we’ll eat our hip, hip hats.

    Hey cuties. The comment in question was deleted because it accused us of stealing a story from the beloved Bullblog. This accusation is untrue--we had our own sources--and thus, journalistically libelous. Also, I can't stand OK! magazine.

    @Yale2012: I suppose that when he applies for a job at OK! magazine, he doesn't want to have to list "incurred the universal disdain of his peers" under the accomplishments section of his CV. It does seem hypocritical that comments are being deleted when, if he's not tooting his own horn, he's making generalizations about groups of people or personally attacking others.

    Why didn't Brown's Spring Weekend, where MGMT is actually confirmed to play, deserve a post? We also have Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer, The Black Keys, and Wale. Yale maybe has MGMT and Missy Elliot? This is a story?
