y-dub et al: Wesleyan of the “little three” fame from Connecticut is on Reefer Madness — it’s Wesleyan in Georgia, a totally and unconnected school, that is on Don’t Inhale. They’re both named after a religious leader, that’s all. There’s also an Ohio Wesleyan, for the record.

@D-bag: down the tubes, my ass. News flash: NOBODY at Dartmouth took the survey, genius. The facts under Dartmouth at the end are recycled from the old versions (after all, they have to include *something* about all schools). Look at some of PR’s ranking’s from a few years back at Dartmouth is on the food, libraries, prof accessibility, happiest students/quality of life list, etc.

How the fuck does Columbia rank 1, NYU 14 and The Cooper Union 20 on the list of great college towns? Cooper’s campus is circumscribed by NYU’s and all three are in Manhattan. For the record: the UWS sucks balls, in a bad way. NYU and Cooper should share #1 representing the East Village and Columbia should be @ 20, if on the list at all.

This is the silliest list. It seems to be randomly generated. How can the schools in NY be ranked in different spots for “best college town”? It doesn’t even bother to distinguish between Wesleyans, putting “Wesleyan” on the no-liquor and on the pothead lists.

I’d be willing to bet that more beer is purchased and consumed per capita at Dartmouth than at most of the schools on the “Lots of Beer” list. Just speaking from personal experience at PC etc.

That said, too bad we didn’t make any good lists either. School’s going down the tubes.
