all i know is that i was “maintaining the knowledge” and i was pissed when they didn’t play. i am a huge LP fan and would probably tear-up if i heard “breaking the habit” live, close enough to feel shinoda’s sweat. i hope cottage gets them for lawnparties, im a huge nu metal fan.

i think it was a pretty funny joke. whoever did it managed to maintain the knowledge for a long time. i can’t believe a great deal of randos actually believed it. all in good fun i guess.
