Who We Are

Hey everyone,

I’m Nina, Barnard ‘07.

After graduation, I moved to Brooklyn (Greenwood Heights represent) and have become a complete borough chauvinist, avoiding the subway whenever possible. This habit has become much easier to maintain since I left my job as the assistant to a Vanity Fair editor a little over a month ago. Since then, I’ve been mostly watching “Top Chef” marathons and warily monitoring my dwindling bank account.

But at least I don’t live in New Jersey like Charleton.

I’m Charleton, Harvard ‘11

Like most of you, I have the proverbial “internship in the city,” but I spend most of my time catching up on all the TV I missed during the school year (“Gossip Girl”, I take back every negative thing I’ve said about you). Yes, as Nina has revealed, I do live in New Jersey, which means I have a special distaste for Princeton above and beyond the normal hatred everyone feels.

We’re both really excited to be here with you guys for the next two weeks, so please send us your tips.

NOTE: If you’re interning at an investment bank this summer and have something interesting to say, we want to hear from you. I guess that goes for consulting too, but it had better be really interesting.
