And remember to keep those tips a-comin’.

Ugh… the energy to register was nearly prohibitive. I suspect many others don’t value their snark as highly as they do to time to fill out a form and check their email.

Obviously, you underestimate how much I value my own snark.
I even love the smell of my own snark.

Sometimes I like to rub my snark all over my face.

Also, IG, can we please have the ability to change our names while posting comments? Why do you have to be like Gawker? A little anonymity can be fun at times.
A better idea could be to have something like the YDN currently does on its comment boards: if you want to post without registration, you have to deal with a spam filtering system and wait to have your comment moderated. If you register, you don’t have to deal with either. But at least this system allows you not to log in when you just want to post a snarky one-liner from a public computer in, say, the library.

If you really want to increase the number of comments and commenters, then you may want to write a post about a university ranking list. Any will do. Ivy Leaguers’ egos are relatively fragile.

I mistyped as I registered this name (haha, alright, let the Harvard jokes begin) and now I look like an incoming freshman, which I am not. I don’t really want to deal with registering again. Can we just go back to how things were? Slightly juvenile, yes. Posts from Yalies who may or may not have been exactly who they claimed they were not, yes. Trolling, bashing, and internet hissy fits? Yes! Interesting as all get-out? Um, YES. I want my [old] IvyGate!

Of course this site is like Gawker–Lamb here is an intern at Gawker.

Montoya is herself agonized over the issue of killing criminals, although her guilt is over a principled refusal to kill one, specifically the murderer of her former partner. ,
