Brown Freshman Plays Hockey, Distributes Kiddie Porn
Harrison Zolnierczyk, a Brown freshman from Canada and member of the Bears’ glorious hockey team, is having some legal troubles back in the old country. While most students were busy watching Hillary Clinton jazz it up at a Providence rally Sunday, Zolnierczyk was “facing charges of voyeurism and production, possession and distribution of child pornography” from something called the “Port Alberni Provincial Court in British Columbia,” also in Canada. Will Harrison Zolnierczyk survive this terrible smear campaign against his hockey career? Or is he really a voyeur who produced, possessed and distributed tapes of horrible child sex? Well, the Mounties are on the case now, so it’s only a matter of seconds before the they figure out this would-be perp’s deal.
Zolnierczyk has been forced to quit the Brown hockey team — “the team he loves playing on,” according to his Canadian lawyer (barrister?). He gets to remain a student, but probably not for much longer if he gets convicted of this dire shit: “charges in Canada in connection with accusations that he produced, recorded and distributed a pornographic video involving a teenage girl on YouTube.” Oh yes, rings a bell.
Zolnierczyk plans to enter a guilty plea in Port Alberni Provincial Court on March 13, presumably to take some of the bite out of that punishment. But how silly a child this Brown freshman is, thinking the Mounties won’t bury his ass:
Cpl. Rob Foster of the Mounted Police told the Journal that the Canadian legal system does not distinguish between felonies and misdemeanors as the American system does, but that the charges potentially carry jail time.
Felony, misdemeanor, death by Mountie-stomping — it’s Mountie rules when sex offenders are in play. In Canada.

any chance on getting an age of the girl and/or an idea of how serious the video was — my assumption is that anything on youtube probably wasn’t that volatile. “child” is anyone under 19 in British Columbia, which leaves the question of “child” vs. “teenager” kind of wide-open.
don’t get me wrong, i’m sure the guy is a complete asshole, i’m just saying there’s a huge range of severity/immorality that this article doesn’t address.

He was having oral sex with his 17 year old girlfriend. What he did wrong was distribute it on a public service. Had he just had sex with her GF, the Canadian laws do not have a statutory rape like in the US. There is a limitation on that regarding adult and child sex. In this case the so called victim was 17 and his GF, with her parents consent to the relationship. This is a smear campaign. He was wrong for taping his moments with his Girlfriend and sharing them on the WWW and that is what is against the law in Canada, not the fact he had sex with his 17 year old girlfriend. What a foolish mistake he made and now that will cost him for the rest of his life. I wish the laws in Both the US and Canada would be just as diligent in keeping real Pedophiles in jail and going after them.

he distributed an underage girl performing a sex act. He needs to go to jail. This isn’t a smear campaign. He videotaped this without her knowledge - what a tool.

Actually He wasn’t having Oral Sex with her, he was taping (via webcam) his buddy having oral sex with her. This was completely pre-meditated and in my eyes he deserves everything that gets given to him. He destroyed an individual through doing this to her and has every right to be hassled by the media. He deserves what is given to him through the courts.

Harrison is a perverted creep. He taped his underage Xgirlfriend with her new BF, WITHOUT her knowledge… this wasn’t a consented “teenage sextape”…she thought that he was still a friend. Harrison, you (and your mother) will have to live with the shame of your cruelty for the rest of your life. Think about that the next time you take any photos…. O wait, your not allowed to posses a recording device for 3 years… O wait, I guess that means bye-bye cell phone…
