Having lived at both Penn and Columbia (albeit at Columbia for only one summer), I can say Columbia ‘09er, you’re an idiot.
First of all, you obviously don’t know what you’re talking about. The area surrounding Columbia is no more or less safe than that of Penn, and in four years, I was never “scared.”
Second, and worse, why would you feel the need to inject random inter-Ivy sniping into this post? It’s bad enough that there’s one thread here with almost 300 posts featuring morons having a pissing match over whose school is better. I don’t feel like reading it in a post that has literally nothing to do with anything. Grow up.
Given an infinite amount of monkeys with an infinite amount of computers, there will be a fight about whose ivy league college is better on every post on ivy gate. congratulations.
and cornell sucks.

Columbia ‘09er makes a light-hearted jest at Penn, albeit unprovoked. Penn ‘07 goes apeshit and fires back. y08 sarcastically fuels the fire.
