Dartmouth Mating Ritual Backfires (UPDATED)
Watching someone get rejected is like watching a car crash. You know you shouldn't stare, but you're helpless to look away. After all, romantic rejection is nature at its cruelest: not only will your beloved not hook up with you, he/she will resist every primordial instinct in his/her body in order to not hook up with you. Everyone knows that look -- the one that says, I will let the human race die off before I get next to you.
So you see why, for us, discovering this video was like brushing away the last layer of sediment covering a fossil of massive scientific import. It provides documentary evidence of two Dartmouth traditions we've heard of but never seen with our own eyes: 1) pong, the game played with a paddle and Byzantine rule system, and 2) the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad mating techniques that result from said game.
Seriously, this is an artifact worthy of of the Met. We'd tell you what to look out for, but the cinematographer does an expert job of directing the viewer's eye. We're clearly in the hands of a master.

Sig Ep is the red-headed step child of the Dartmouth fraternity scene. They don’t even play pong correctly. Their tables are too small and they use blocks of wood as dividers; rumor has it that they do this to scare all the cool kids away.

I’m pretty sure the video was made in the 99-2000 year judging by the guys I saw in it… a couple of ’02s ’01s and 00’s although the guy in the video is a ‘99 I think…

Yeah, I’ll second D’01 and D04. He’s a ‘01 and she’s an ‘02, and i hope someone sends this to her. I wonder how many more videos liket his are floating around waiting to be put on YouTube. This is tremendous. Gotta love those sig ep guys.

Better sig ep than a fagot chi gam or SAE. Anyone remember the time that 6 tiny chi gams came into sig ep to get their asses kicked by that 1 big sig ep guy who was kinda an asshole but no doubt big (’04 I think)? Some of their guys might be awkward but at least they don’t slip rufies in girls drinks…if this was chi gam or SAE the guy would be almost as awkward but the girl would be standing there kind of dazed like “how did I get here…ooo I feel tired”

I like SigEps, nice guys in general. Yes, some can be awkward, but no frat on campus is free of that - even the “steakhouses” (especially when they’re sober). But, D’06 above, if you’re a brother you’re doing the house no favors with your toolbox comments.
