And then this…
“The free downloads will be ‘tethered,’ meaning that they cannot be burned to a CD or downloaded to a portable device.”
Yeah Rob, I can’t imagine anyone illegally downloading either. I enjoy listening to my music on my laptop with my tinny speakers.

Penn got a free downloading service this year that has similar restrictions. I know through other people that you can download a separate program that will convert the songs into regular mp3s, so it’s not completely useless. Personally though, I prefer not to go through that hassle and simply continue to pirate music the old fashioned way.
